FarCry should run on just about any platform ColdFusion MX will run on. Although installation is relatively painless, please follow the installation instructions carefully on your initial installation attempts.

Please note there is no automated updater for migrating 3.0 applications to 4.0. For community support see the forums. Commercial support for upgrades and new builds is available from Daemon .

Latest 4.0 Milestone Releases

Windows / OSX

If you are fresh to FarCry you'll definitely want the 4.0.9 release. Make sure you refer to the Installation Guide.

  • v4.0.9 FarCry Full Install (HTTP) No "updater" required from 4.0.3.
  • v4.0.3 FarCry Full Install (HTTP) No "updater" required from 4.0.1.
  • v4.0.1 FarCry Full Install (HTTP / FTP) No "updater" support at this time from v3.0; manual upgrade required.

Linux

  • None available (if you can generate a gzipped tar ball from SVN for the different milestones please contact modius-AT-daemon.com.au)
Note: these days you should just be able to agrb the ZIP file and all will be well -- we just don't have a readily available gzipped tar ball.
